Yorkshire · Opening in stages

The countryside, done properly.

Fieldsports, glamping and honest food from the land — a slow-grown Yorkshire venture, built by two friends who would rather open well than open early.

Who we are

A country business, built slowly on purpose.

Yorkshire Fell & Field was started by two lifelong friends with a shared love of the outdoors.

We’re building a place where people can learn real country skills, spend a night under canvas, gather for a celebration, and sit down to food they can trace back to the field it came from.

It’s a long-term project, and we’re doing it carefully — safety, respect for the land and a warm welcome first, and everything else in its own time. We’re not taking bookings yet, and we’ll always be plain about what is available now and what is still on its way.

How we’re opening

One step at a time.

No launch date, and no promises we can’t keep. Here’s the shape of it.

Launching first

Fieldsports & country skills

Where we begin: guided shooting and clay taster sessions, with skills days alongside.

In development

Glamping & the land

Preparing our own land for yurt stays, and building towards farm and food experiences.

Coming later

Events & the wider offer

Weddings, hire, the pop-up bar and the rest — added as the foundations are ready.

How we work

What we hold to.

  • Safety first

Proper briefings, small groups and strict respect for the law and for best practice.

  • Respect for the land

We’re guests of the countryside as much as hosts. We leave it as good as we found it, or better.

  • Real skills, good food

Things worth learning, and food worth sitting down to — without fuss or showing off.

  • Family-friendly

A welcoming place for all ages, with activities suited to each. Age limits will be clear from the start.
